You could be our Breeder of the Month! Contact us and let us know about you and your dogs. We’re not a chat line – but we’re happy to include what you’ve got to say about the ups and downs of breeding and what’s happening locally. So let us have your news and views.

Breeders of
the Month

We’re starting off with our own kennel, Flinthill. We live in a village near Stanley, County Durham and have kept pointers and Irish Setters for nearly 20 years.
We have had nine pointer litters and one Irish Setter litter and are members of the Kennel Club’s Accredited Breeders scheme. We breed for health, temperament and breed type.
Our puppies have gone to lovely homes all over the UK and occasionally to very special homes abroad. Some have achieved success in the show ring, others are working dogs with a keen nose for birds but all of them have been much-loved companions and family members. At present, we have eight dogs including our black and white pointer Thyme who was Best Puppy in Breed at Crufts this year.

You can find more information about our dogs on our web site www.flinthill.org.uk

Ceearott Rottweilers

As a family, we have been involved in Rottweilers since 1978, when my parents purchased one of the first rottweilers in the North East. We now continue with our own affix, Ceearott, showing and breeding this magnificent breed. We strive to breed healthy, happy dogs first and foremost.

All the dogs and the puppies are reared and fed on The BARF Diet. All our dogs are hip-scored before breeding and we are now starting to elbow score all dogs too. We have, presently, three bitches, mother and two daughters, and our recent addition, Blue, a male we have imported from USA. He will be campaigned in the ring and we hope to use him in our breeding program.

We are members of The Rottweiler Club, Midland Rottweiler Club and The Northern Rottweiler Club. We agree, as members, to abide by the Code Of Ethics, which among other things, only allows one litter per bitch per year, bitches must be over two years old before breeding and not over the age of seven years. There are several other points to abide by and we take this very seriously.

If you have any questions about Rottweilers,
or puppy enquiries, please get in touch.
